My asthma is not gone, but improved.
Oh, and by the way, I have a new love--his name is Goji! It's okay though, my boyfriend loves him too ;-)
While researching about sulfites and rosacea (as sulfites are about the only food allergy I have found linking to rosacea) I decided to check the ingredients on my favorite rosacea products. Guess what they all contain: goji berry.
Curious about this "miracle" superfruit, I headed this evening to the Whole Foods for goji juice and dried goji berries. The juice I will take am/pm, but begrudgingly. The berries are soooo good. I am thrilled to have something with nutritional value to add to cereals, rices dishes, snack on. (With nuts out of the picture, I have spent way too much time munching Allergy Free Chocolate Chips.)
Funny thing is, despite our skepticism, after just 15-20 minutes, we both felt a bit exhilarated. Could goji berries be the answer to all life's questions? Perhaps not, but I will keep you posted on their progress in fighting rosacea.
Now, I must go and enjoy my sulfite free Red Truck vino and see what happens . . .
