First day back on the horse and I worked very hard at eliminating the top 20 out of my diet. So I was a bit frustrated when I realized that Tony Chachere's has garlic, since I had been more than generous in sprinkling it on the dinner I'd just eaten. And finally it occurred to me that since I am avoiding wine (which has yeast) I probably should not have had balsamic vinegar, durnit. Hopefully these "cheats" wee in small enough doses not to hurt, hopefully.
Day 1 is thus, a valiant effort, but much like myself not perfect. I do however suspect already that my food enemies lie most likely with gluten, soy and possibly yeast. But only time will truly tell.
Here's what kept me going today:
Breakfast
Quinoa (cooked with organic chicken broth free of yeast, gluten, garlic, soy, etc.)
Snack
Salted Macadamias
Lunch
Quinoa (same as above)
Snack
Olive Oil and Rosemary Potato Chips (free of yeast, soy, gluten, corn oil, etc.)
Dinner
Chicken, Red Peppers, Onions (cooked with olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, oregano and Tony Chachere's) with Quinoa (same as above)
