Day 13 and Counting

Girl time may be skewing my results a bit. I hope so.

This whole thing is getting a bit rough, and I am sure that I have read more than once that girl time is not the time to start any new diet. But then again, as much as slacking would make life easier and a bit more tasty today, I definitely do not want to wake up tomorrow suffering the consequences.

Yesterday and today have been tough. Yesterday especially. In desperate need of a trip to the grocery, I literally ate quinoa and cookies all day. By the time dinner rolled around I was so starving that I couldn't even bring myself to fit in an after work grocery stop, instead I ate more quinoa.

For anyone who is familar with the mentality: I will just eat it all today so I can't eat anymore tomorrow. That was really and truly me yesterday. Unfortunately, I did not finish the very last of the Nana's cookies I bought, the half a cookie in the cupboard calls out to me (shhh!).

Here's what kept me going yesterday:

Potato Chips Cooked in Olive Oil with Rosemary

Dinner
Quinoa (cooked with organic, soy free, gluten free, yeast free chicken broth)

Snack
Bites of a Nana's No Gluten Chocolate Cookie and a Glass of California Cabernet (with sulfites--bad!)
